Duties

- Oversee food safety protocols, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in compliance with regulations
- Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative culinary techniques
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock rotation to minimise waste
- Train new team members in food preparation, safety procedures, and customer service standards
- Maintain a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and professional growth
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen or hospitality setting
- Extensive knowledge of food production, preparation, and cooking techniques
- Strong team management skills with the ability to lead and motivate staff effectively
- Excellent culinary skills with an eye for detail and presentation
- Sound understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is highly desirable
