We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
- Greet guests warmly, taking orders efficiently whilst providing exceptional service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, adhering to food safety regulations
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and ensure responsible service
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the point-of-sale system
- Restock bar supplies as needed, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and well-presented
- Engage with guests to promote specials or upcoming events, enhancing their overall experience
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the start and end of shifts
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or serving roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
- Basic maths skills for handling payments and calculating bills accurately
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a lively environment
- Good communication skills, friendly demeanour, and a professional attitude
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
