Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily pharmacy operations, front of house customer services operations and supporting business objectives.

Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacy team with pharmacy services.
- Manage stock levels, including ordering, receiving, and organising pharmaceutical supplies
- Support medication administration processes under supervision, ensuring compliance with safety protocols
- Provide friendly and professional service to patients, answering queries and offering guidance where appropriate
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and inventory in accordance with legal and organisational standards
- Ensure the pharmacy environment remains clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations
- Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and processing prescriptions
Skills
- Prior experience as a pharmacy technician or in a similar healthcare role is highly desirable
- Outstanding customer service skills- confident, friendly and also willing to take instructions with a positive attitude
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and patient care practices
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in dispensing and record keeping
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive patient information
- Basic IT skills for managing pharmacy software systems
- Attention to detail and "can-do" attitude

You must be flexible, able to take shifts at short notice, able to work evenings and weekends and commit to the position for the next 18-24 months.

Pay: £8.00-£12.71 per hour
