Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver with own LONG OR MEDIUM Wheelbase van to join our team in London various locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring excellent customer service throughout the process. This role is ideal for someone with previous delivery or warehouse experience who takes pride in punctuality and professionalism.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for organised individuals who enjoy driving and delivering excellent service. Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate reliability, good organisational skills, and a proactive attitude towards safety and customer satisfaction.
You can choose to work at one of our 5 hubs: Southward, Stratford, Kensington, Richmond or Belxleyheath
Role Responsibilities
- Complete multi-drop deliveries across London
- Load and organise parcels efficiently
- Follow delivery routes using a smartphone app
-Deliver excellent customer service
Requirements
- Own van (minimum LWB/MWB required)
- Valid UK driving licence
-Right to work in the UK
- Vehicle insurance and valid MOT
- Smartphone for delivery apps
Process:
First, you will be booked onto a short induction shift at our WATERLOO location. You do not need to bring your vehicle to this shift.
Once you have completed this induction, you can apply to shifts at any of our London hubs.
PLEASE NOTE:
We have high expectations of customer service. As such, we will ask you at induction to agree to our service-level-agreements. These are specific standards of delivery. Please note them below, as well as the penalties for not meeting them:
1. If you lose a parcel, the value of that parcel may be deducted from your total pay
2. If you abandon a route with no reason, you may be asked to pay a fine.
3. If you are late to your shift, you may be sent home without being given work due to your late start.
Pay: £16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 70.0 per week
