We looking for a new Assistant Manager to join our friendly bar team here at William the Fourth! We're a busy, vibrant pub located in Brighton's popular North Laines, taking pride in our selection of local craft beer, classic pub grub and wine & cocktail selection.
You'll be working alongside our general manager and supervisors to ensure smooth operations of the pub, running both midweek and weekend shifts as well as overseeing staff when the GM isn't in the pub. Shifts are usually a mix of 3 nights and 2 days a week, but you can work with the GM to find the best fit for yourself.
The ideal candidate would have the following:
- A personal license is essential for this role.
- At least 1 year of management experience in a pub or bar setting.
- A passion for hospitality, with sufficient knowledge on beers, wines and spirits.
- Basic cocktail knowledge.
- A hardworking & friendly attitude and is prepared to work effectively and efficiently with other staff members.
Pay- £13.85 per hour plus holiday pay.
Hours- 35-40 a week
