Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our bustling establishment. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff, including servers, kitchen personnel, and baristas, to ensure smooth operations.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, serving, and presentation to uphold quality standards.
- Manage daily staffing schedules, delegate tasks, and motivate team members to deliver excellent customer service.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health & safety policies at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and manage stock rotation to minimise waste.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the restaurant environment in accordance with hygiene standards.
- Support training programmes for new staff members to promote professional development within the team.
- Collaborate with management to implement promotional activities and optimise operational efficiency.
Experience
- Proven management or supervisory experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Extensive knowledge of food production processes, culinary techniques, and food safety regulations.
- Experience in serving, food preparation, and kitchen operations is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with hospitality management systems and point-of-sale (POS) technology.
- Previous barista experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
