Volunteer (Unpaid) Opportunity: Equestrian Safety
Help make riding and carriage driving safer in your community
Are you passionate about equestrian safety and educating others?
As an Equestrian Safety Volunteer with British Horse Society, you’ll help share vital safety advice and promote safer practices in your local area.
This role may suit you if you enjoy:
- Communicating and engaging with others
- Promoting safety messages and awareness campaigns
- Working with local communities and partner organisations
- Helping riders and horse owners stay informed and safe
You’ll be fully supported by the BHS Safety Team and Volunteer Support Team, with training and resources provided. The role is flexible and can be shaped around the time you have available.

We are especially keen to hear from volunteers in Scotland, Wales and the South of England (Isle of Wight, Hampshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire)
