As a Bike Mechanic, you will be essential in maintaining and repairing bicycles to ensure optimal performance and safety for our customers. Your core skills in mechanical knowledge, hand tools, and power tools will be vital as you diagnose issues and execute repairs.
You will report to the Shop Manager and collaborate with team members to provide exceptional service, ensuring that every bike is in top condition for our cycling community. Join us in promoting a passion for cycling through quality maintenance and service.
Responsibilities:
- Perform basic bike repairs and maintenance under supervision, learning fundamental skills required for bike mechanics.
- Assist in assessing and diagnosing bike issues, collaborating with senior mechanics to ensure efficient repairs.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and helpful manner, providing guidance on bike care and maintenance.
- Support the organisation in planning and delivering community events focused on cycling and promoting a healthy and sustainable lifestyle.
