Job Purpose
As a Legal Advisor specialising in Low Velocity Impact (LVI) cases, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of non-litigated personal injury claims that involve allegations of fraud.
Key Responsibilities
Progressing claims in a timely manner in accordance with the CPR, prioritising urgent matters and managing daily caseloads.
Instruct Counsel for conferences, hearings, and case management conferences (CMCs).
Keep clients informed and updated regularly throughout the claim’s lifecycle.
Maintain strong relationships with referrers, ensuring consistent service and loyalty to the firm.
Liaise with BTE (Before the Event) and ATE (After the Event) insurers, keeping them fully informed on claim progress.
Check the authenticity and validity of claims, especially on complex or potentially fraudulent files.
Prepare files for transfer to the litigation team as soon as possible.
Achieve individual and team targets, supporting colleagues to ensure departmental goals are met.
Build relationships with external clients to minimise complaints and enhance the firm’s reputation.
Ensure all work is compliant with internal policies and external regulations.

Experience and Knowledge
Proven experience handling claims involving allegations of fraud and/or LVI.
This role is suitable for experienced legal advisors with significant knowledge of the full litigation process.
Good working knowledge of relevant case law and legislation.
Experience with RTA claims and technical legal files is highly desirable.
Ability to work in an organised, methodical manner and manage competing priorities.
Excellent client care and communication skills, with the confidence to advise and update multiple stakeholders.
Strong commercial awareness and commitment to delivering successful outcomes for clients and the business.
