Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our team in enhancing the quality of life for our residents in a family run care home. This role involves planning and implementing engaging activities that promote social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and overall well-being for our residents.
Duties
- Plan and coordinate events, outings, and recreational activities that encourage participation from all residents.
- Document participation levels and gather feedback to continuously improve the activities program.
- Engage with families to promote involvement in resident activities.
Qualifications
- Experience in event planning, particularly within a care home environments.
- Background in long-term care, or home & community care is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and staff members.
- Ability to create an inclusive atmosphere that respects the dignity of all residents while promoting engagement through recreational therapy.
Pay: From £13.00 per hour
