Drumpellier Golf Club – Assistant Greenkeeper
We are seeking an Assistant Greenkeeper to join our enthusiastic and forward thinking team at a busy member’s golf club.
This role requires an experienced and motivated person with a strong work ethic looking for a new challenge.
This is a full-time contract based on a 39 hours per week on a rota which includes weekends.
Requirements and experience:
- A minimum of 2 years’ green keeping experience.
- NVQ 2 or equivalent in sports turf maintenance.
- Able to mow all playing surfaces to a high and presentable standard.
- Experience with aeration practices.
- Spraying and chainsaw licences are desirable.
- Preparing & maintaining machinery.
- Ability to set up the golf course in accordance with the rules of golf i.e. changing holes and moving tee markers.
- An understanding and mindset towards health and safety.
- Good time management.
- An ability to work well in a team and also the ability to use your own initiative when needed.
- Knowledge of golf and interest in playing the game.
- A full driving licence.
