KS1 Primary Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Slough on a maternity cover basis starting this September.

About the Role:
- Full class responsibility for a KS1 class (Year 1 or Year 2)
- Planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Monitoring and supporting pupil progress
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
- Contributing to the wider life of the school
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching in KS1 (EYFS experience desirable but not essential)
- Demonstrate strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
- Be creative, adaptable, and passionate about primary education
- Have high expectations for pupil achievement and wellbeing
- Be a strong team player with excellent communication skills
