Summary
Shakespeare Primary School is seeking to appoint an inspirational, caring and highly skilled Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about inclusion and committed to helping every child thrive academically, socially and emotionally. The successful candidate will have the ability to build exceptional relationships with pupils, staff, parents and external agencies, creating a nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued and supported to achieve their full potential. We are looking for someone who is compassionate, resilient, enthusiastic and committed to making a genuine difference to the lives of children and their families.

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.

Essential Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Supporting Teaching and Learning or a relevant childcare/education qualification.
- GCSE Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
Evidence of relevant professional development in SEND, inclusion or child development.

Essential Experience
- Significant experience of working within EYFS and/or Key Stage 1.
- Proven experience of supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- Experience of implementing targeted interventions to support pupils' learning and development.
Strong understanding and practical application of inclusive and adaptive teaching approaches.

Desirable Experience
- Experience of working with children with social, emotional and mental health needs.
- Knowledge and experience of trauma-informed practice and nurturing approaches.
- Experience of working collaboratively with teachers, families and external professionals to achieve positive outcomes for children.
