Job Overview
Easymix Concrete Ltd are looking to recruit a Concrete Plant Batcher. The successful candidate should be reliable, well organised, focused and able to work as part of team in a busy working environment.
Duties
- Batch concrete to meet customer needs and quality requirements
- Operate the batching plant to company standards
- Ensure customer deliveries are planned to achieve maximum efficiency
- Maintain a clean and tidy site and workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Monitor equipment performance and report any issues promptly
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Assist in tracking material usage and reordering supplies as necessary, maintaining accurate material and stock records
- Work alongside our Transport, Technical and Sales Teams to ensure high standards are met
- Supervise staff and drivers to ensure maximum productivity while maintaining safety, quality and environmental compliance
- Willingness to work flexible working hours to meet the needs of the business
Requirements
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining safety standards
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Computer knowledge
- Ability to operate a loading shovel or training can be given
- Full, clean driving licence
Monday to Friday with Saturdays 7am-1pm (when required)
