The Role
You will be responsible for delivering ready-mixed concrete safely and efficiently to customer sites across the South West.
This is a customer-facing role, so professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude are essential.
Responsibilities
- Deliver concrete and to residential, and commercial sites
- Carry out daily vehicle checks
- Keep vehicle, drum, and chutes clean and in good condition
- Comply with Drivers’ Hours, Working Time Directive, tachograph, and health & safety regulations
- Communicate professionally with customers, site staff, and the transport office
- Report delays or issues promptly
Requirements
- Minimum Class 2 (Category C) licence required
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous mixer experience preferred but not essential
- Good attitude and strong work ethic
- Monday–Friday with occasional Saturday mornings
- Typical working hours are between 6:00am and 17:00, although finish times may vary depending on workload
