In The Park have an exciting opportunity - we are currently looking for a Manager to take over the running of one of our fun and friendly cafes in Cheltenham's popular Pittville Park, serving freshly ground coffee, snacks and ice cream.
Key tasks:
- Day to day management tasks, overseeing a small team and ensuring the effective operation of the site including stock ordering, stock control, daily procedures, till operation, cash up, staff rota management and staff training.
- Leading by example - undertaking team member duties, including making hot and cold drinks & scooping ice cream.
- Delivering strong and consistent staff training whilst encouraging a positive and productive work place.
- Remaining efficient, organised and able to stay calm under pressure.
- Must be an excellent communicator with exemplary customer service.
- Working closely with the Operations Manager and supervisors to ensure a smooth hand over day to day.
Ideally you will have previous management experience in a coffee shop environment, with good barista skills and a love of our beautiful park!
Pay: £13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 37.0 per week
