Job Overview
We are looking to recruit a Commercial Vehicle Hire Assistant to work here at York Van Centre. This is a fabulous opportunity to join a family run business. The role is to run our day to day Hire Fleet and provide each and every one of our customers with consistently high levels of Customer Service.
Duties
- Manage and process vehicle hire bookings efficiently using our Ivech Hire System.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle availability, reservations, and Customer information
- Ownership of the breakdown assistance for our customers keeping them fully informed with ETA's and repairs
- Communicate effectively with Customers via phone and email, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and professional communication skills.
- Collaborate with the Service team to schedule repairs or servicing as required.
- Digital merchandising - Videos and photos for the website
- Other duties may include - supporting colleagues in the Sales/Service Department as and when needed.
- Previous administrative experience is preferred, but full in house training will be given.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure

23 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
Working hours include every second Saturday
Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
