Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of School to lead our educational institution. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of school management, ensuring a high standard of teaching and learning, and fostering a positive environment for students, staff, and the wider community. Duties
- Provide visionary leadership to promote a culture of academic achievement, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the development and implementation of the curriculum, ensuring it meets national standards and caters to diverse student needs.
- Lead, support, and motivate teaching staff to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the school, including administration, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Foster strong relationships with parents, carers, local authorities, and community organisations to enhance school engagement.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and uphold safeguarding policies.
- Promote professional development opportunities for staff to maintain high standards of teaching practice.
- Monitor student progress and implement strategies to improve educational outcomes.
- Organise school events, open days, and community activities to strengthen school presence within the local area.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a senior educational leadership role or similar capacity within a school environment.
- Strong background in teaching with relevant qualifications in education or leadership (e.g., PGCE or equivalent).
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills to engage with staff, students, parents, and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change initiatives and foster a collaborative team environment.

Pay: £46,148.45-£60,283.39 per year
