Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Room Leader to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The role is a part-time role to begin with. The ideal candidate will possess management and leadership skills to an extent, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. This role requires a passion for early childhood education and the ability to communicate effectively with both children and parents.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the developmental needs of children.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Organise activities that promote physical, emotional, and intellectual development.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant childcare regulations and policies.
Experience
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a childcare or nursery setting is not necessarily essential.
- A background in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience working with children in a nursery or similar environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

Qualifications
At least a level 2 qualification in Early Years (a recognised qualification)
