Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children in primary education to thrive and succeed?
Chalk are recruiting for this Level 3 Teaching Assistant position within a welcoming primary school. This is a temporary role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate in the new academic year.
Job Description
This rewarding role will suit a positive, proactive and experienced teaching assistant who is confident supporting across EYFS, KS1 or KS2. You will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils in small groups and on a one-to-one basis, helping to deliver engaging lessons and ensuring all children can access the curriculum.
Your responsibilities will include supporting learning in the classroom, assisting with planning and preparation of activities, managing behaviour effectively, and delivering targeted intervention sessions to support pupil progress. You may also be required to provide general classroom support during lessons, break times and extra-curricular activities.

To be considered for this role you will need:
- Experience working within a primary school setting
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum
- Positive and proactive attitude
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to support pupils with varying learning needs

o References confirming suitability for role
o Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service
