We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Workshop Fitter to join our busy workshop team.
This is a varied and hands-on role working across a mixed fleet, including vans, light commercial vehicles, HGVs, trailers and general workshop equipment. We need someone who is practical, flexible and willing to support the wider workshop wherever required.
Key responsibilities include:
Servicing and repairs
Vehicle inspections and defect rectification
Brake testing and diagnostics
Final checks and quality control
General workshop support across the fleet
The successful candidate will be confident working safely, following procedures and completing work to a high standard first time.
We’re looking for someone who:
Has experience in vehicle maintenance, fitting or workshop repairs
Is confident working on HGVs, trailers, vans or mixed-fleet vehicles
Is flexible and willing to turn their hand to a variety of jobs
Can work independently and as part of a team
Takes pride in quality, safety and attention to detail
Communicates clearly and proactively when issues arise
HGV experience would be advantageous, but we would also consider candidates with strong mechanical experience who are willing and able to work across the full workshop environment.
