Leightec Systems Ltd are looking for an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join our team based in Goole.We are a growing fabrication and ventilation company carrying out work across ducting, canopies, ventilation systems, steelwork and general metal fabrication. We are looking for someone reliable, skilled and able to work to a high standard both independently and as part of a team.
Role Duties - The role will include:
- TIG welding and general fabrication work with a knowledge of MIG welding.
- Working from drawings and measurements
- Fabricating ducting, canopies, brackets, frames and associated metalwork
- Cutting, grinding, drilling and preparing materials
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
- Keeping the workshop clean, safe and organised
- Very occasional site work may be required
Required Qualifications / Experience - Applicants must have:
- Previous welding and fabrication experience
- Good knowledge of TIG welding
- Ability to read and work from drawings
- Experience working with stainless steel, mild steel and sheet metal
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work safely and follow company procedures
- A positive attitude and good timekeeping
The following would be desirable/advantageous:
- TIG welding experience a must
- CSCS card
- IPAF / PASMA
- Full UK driving licence
- Relevant welding/fabrication qualifications or experience
