The ideal candidate will possess a flair for styling, colouring, and grooming, with a keen eye for detail and excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities
- Provide professional hair styling, colouring, cutting, and grooming services tailored to each client’s preferences and needs.
- Assist with front desk duties, including appointment scheduling, client consultations, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
- Upsell additional services and retail products to maximise client experience and salon revenue.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a positive team environment through knowledge sharing and support.
- Manage store operations efficiently, ensuring cleanliness, organisation, and adherence to health and safety standards.
- Build strong relationships with clients through excellent communication skills and personalised service.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay current with industry trends and techniques.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or Barber with a strong portfolio of work.
- Skills in appointment booking systems and retail sales.
- Knowledge in colour techniques, and cutting-edge styling trends.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
- Experience in mentoring junior staff or trainees.
- Ability to upsell products and services tactfully while maintaining client trust.
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
