We are seeking a professional PCV Coach Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a valid driver licence, strong communication skills, and experience in commercial driving. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout journeys.
Duties
- Safely operate passenger vehicles, including coaches , in accordance with road safety regulations
- Conduct pre-journey safety checks and routine vehicle maintenance to ensure optimal operation
- Deliver excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, alighting, and providing information as needed
- Maintain accurate records of journeys, mileage, and vehicle inspections
- Follow planned routes and schedules efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies
- Report any vehicle issues or incidents promptly to the appropriate department for resolution
- Assist with loading and unloading luggage or equipment when required
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or coach driver with valid PSV driver licence
- Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting but training will be given.
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record and familiarity with commercial driving regulations
- Good communication skills in English to interact effectively with passengers and team members
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and ability to perform routine checks
- Ability to operate various types of vehicles safely and responsibly
- Organised, punctual, and capable of managing schedules efficiently
- Previous experience in passenger transport or coach driving is highly desirable

Pay: £12.21-£19.87 per hour
