Job Summary

Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and safety guidelines
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and serve drinks promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations at all times
- Manage cash register operations, including processing payments efficiently
- Monitor customer behaviour to promote responsible drinking and address any issues professionally
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer experiences
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or as a bartender is desirable
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible service of alcohol
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly and approachable manner
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Effective time management to ensure timely service even during peak hours
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism
- Knowledge of restaurant or bar operations is advantageous
