Zest Education is proud to be supporting an excellent mainstream school in Sudbury, with their own on site ASD provision. As the school continues to grow, we are looking to appoint several dedicated Teaching Assistants - Autism (ASD) to join their expanding team.
Whether you’re an experienced SEND practitioner or someone with strong transferable skills and a genuine passion for working with neurodiverse young people, we would love to hear from you.
What the role involves:
- Supporting pupils with Autism (ASD)
- Working within small groups of 6–8 students, alongside a class teacher
- Providing tailored support based on your experience and strengths
- Assisting with learning activities, emotional regulation and social development
- Collaborating with teachers and therapists to create a positive, structured learning environment

What we’re looking for:
- Experience in SEND settings OR transferable skills (care, youth work, psychology, sports coaching, etc.)
- A patient, resilient and compassionate approach
- Ability to commit to full‑time hours preferred, though part‑time days may be considered
- A desire to build long‑term relationships – the school is keen to offer permanent contracts to the right
