Hospitality & Event Staff – Summer Events at Historic Racecourses

Previous hospitality experience or a good knowledge of restaurant or event service environments is preferred for this role.
TCS Recruitment is currently recruiting hospitality staff to support events at one of the UK’s most historic and prestigious racing venues, located in the heart of Suffolk.
Work at some of the UK’s most iconic summer sporting occasions – from elegant race days and premium hospitality suites to large-scale events at a world-famous racing venue. These events form part of the UK’s renowned summer sporting calendar and offer the opportunity to work in exciting, fast-paced hospitality environments.
In addition to events at this historic racecourse, there will also be opportunities to work at other racecourses in the region, with optional opportunities to support major summer events in South West London for those interested in additional shifts.
Training and onboarding will take place locally before your first shifts.
The Role
As part of the hospitality team, you will help deliver outstanding service to guests across a range of event environments including hospitality restaurants, private boxes, bars and premium guest areas.
Typical responsibilities may include:
- Waiting tables and serving food and drinks
- Providing excellent customer service to guests
- Supporting bar and hospitality service
- Assisting with event preparation and service
- Working closely with the wider hospitality team to deliver a professional event experience
Each event is different, giving you the opportunity to gain experience working in high-end hospitality settings at major sporting events.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for reliable, well-presented individuals who enjoy working in hospitality and delivering excellent service to guests.
Ideally, candidates will have:
- Previous hospitality experience in restaurant, bar, food service or event environments
- Experience or a good understanding of working in similar hospitality settings is preferred
- A positive and professional attitude
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- The ability to work well in a busy team environment
- A reliable and punctual approach to work
