Talbot Landscapes Ltd is an award-winning, commercial, landscaping contractor based in Derby. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, we are looking for an experienced Landscape Supervisor to join our team and lead projects across the UK.
This is an opportunity for a motivated, professional Working Supervisor who takes pride in delivering high-quality commercial landscaping schemes and can confidently lead teams on site.
The Role
As a Landscape Supervisor, you will take ownership of on-site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
You will be responsible for:
- Attending pre-start meetings with the Site Surveyor
- Programming and organising daily and weekly site activities
- Working from planting plans, drawings, and specifications
- Supervising and motivating landscape operatives
- Liaising professionally with clients and main contractors
- Delivering all aspects of soft landscaping including:
- Ground preparation and cultivation
- Seeding and turfing
- Shrub, hedge, and tree planting
- Maintaining excellent quality control standards
- Managing Health & Safety compliance on site
- Completing daily tool box talks, reports and associated paperwork
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking someone who:
- Has a minimum of 2 years’ landscaping experience, ideally within commercial projects
- Has experience supervising small to medium-sized teams
- Possesses strong soft landscaping and horticultural knowledge
- Can confidently read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Demonstrates strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Leads by example and maintains high standards of workmanship
- Communicates clearly and professionally
Essential:
- Full UK driving licence
- SSSTS accreditation
- CSCS accreditation
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
