Care Coordinator

We are seeking a dynamic, organised, and person-centred Care Coordinator to join our growing team. This is a key role within the service, supporting the safe, effective, and high-quality delivery of domiciliary care.
You will play a central role in coordinating care packages, supporting staff, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, while maintaining a strong focus on dignity, outcomes, and individualised care.
£16.00 per hour
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a genuine passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care
- Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience within the domiciliary care sector
- Demonstrate flexibility, reliability, and a proactive approach to work
- Be confident using digital systems and care management platforms
- Be a strong team player with the ability to also work independently
- Possess excellent communication and people management skills
- Have a solid understanding of CQC standards and regulatory expectations
- Be innovative, forward-thinking, and solution-focused
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing, managing, and scheduling staff rotas to ensure safe and consistent care delivery
- Writing, reviewing, and updating person-centred care plans in line with assessed needs
- Conducting risk assessments and ensuring appropriate risk management strategies are in place
- Supporting recruitment processes, including interviewing and onboarding new staff
- Carrying out spot checks, observations, and competency assessments
- Participating in the on-call rota to provide out-of-hours support
- Monitoring service delivery to ensure quality, safety, and continuity of care
- Completing audits and contributing to quality assurance processes
- Supporting compliance with CQC regulations and internal policies
- Building positive relationships with service users, families, and professionals
About You
You will be someone who understands the realities of domiciliary care and can balance operational demands with compassionate leadership. You will be confident in making decisions, responsive to challenges, and committed to continuous improvement.
A background in quality assurance, compliance, and auditing is essential, alongside a strong working knowledge of safeguarding and best practice within adult social care

Pay: Up to £16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 20 per week
