Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair services while ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for our clients. As a Senior Hair Stylist, you will also have the opportunity to mentor junior stylists and contribute to the overall success of our salon.
Duties
- Deliver high-quality hair cutting, colouring, and styling services tailored to individual client needs.
- Perform additional services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application as required.
- Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience and increase salon revenue.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing their concerns.
- Assist in store management tasks including inventory control and staff scheduling.
- Mentor junior stylists, sharing knowledge and techniques to foster their professional development.
- Manage front desk responsibilities, including appointment scheduling and client check-ins.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Proficiency in upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities.
- Experience in barbering is an advantage but not essential.
- Knowledge of eyelash extensions and makeup application is desirable.
- Ability to mentor and guide less experienced stylists.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- A friendly and approachable demeanour that promotes a positive salon atmosphere.
