This role is based at one of our Newmarket Studs where you’ll be working as part of a team and reporting to the Stud Groom.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in the daily care and management of high-value bloodstock, contributing to the success of a world-class breeding operation. This position demands professionalism, reliability, and a deep commitment to the welfare and development of the horses under your care.

Assisting with all aspects of stud work, including foaling, breeding, and general horse care.

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and organisation within the yard.

Ensuring the health and wellbeing of mares and foals through attentive care.

You will have previous experience working as a Stud Hand.

A flexible attitude to working hours.

Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Sound knowledge of equine behaviour and handling techniques.

A genuine passion for the industry and a desire to uphold its highest standards.
