Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Operative to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food production environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of production lines while adhering to strict food safety and quality standards. This position requires a commitment to maintaining high levels of hygiene and safety throughout the production process.
Duties
- Operate and monitor food production machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow established procedures for food safety, including HACCP guidelines, to maintain product quality.
- Conduct routine checks on equipment and machinery, performing basic mechanical maintenance as needed.
- Assist in the preparation and packaging of food products, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including quantities produced and any issues encountered.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production targets while maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in food production or a similar manufacturing role is advantageous.
- Basic maths skills are essential for measuring ingredients and recording production data.
- Familiarity with HACCP principles and food safety regulations is highly desirable.
- A strong commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety within the workplace.
