Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated individual to join our Kitchen Servery team at the weekends. The successful candidate will need to provide excellent service in a busy food environment, ensuring the smooth operation of the servery area. The Kitchen Servery plays a key part in delivering food and beverage to our residents and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously, following kitchen procedures
- Assist with food preparation and presentation to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the servery area, adhering to food safety regulations
- Replenish supplies and ensure all items are stocked appropriately throughout service periods
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential as training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- A positive attitude with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
