Electrician Required – Commercial & Industrial
JTH Electrical Services are an expanding electrical contracting company based in Peterlee, County Durham, covering the North East and nationwide projects.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a fully qualified electrician to join our team.
The Role
- Primarily commercial and industrial work
- Minimal domestic work
- Monday to Friday working
- Overtime available
- Company van provided
- Company fuel/purchase card
- Uniform and PPE supplied
- Bonus scheme
- 22 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Immediate start date available
Salary
- Up to £44,500 per year depending on experience
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
- Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
- Overtime and weekend work available
Away Work
- Accommodation and travel expenses fully paid by company
- Time and a half overtime rate
- £70 overnight allowance
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Fully qualified electrician
- ECS card
- Commercial and industrial experience essential
- Inspection and testing experience preferred
Duties Include
- Electrical installations and certification
- Project work
- Full office refurbishments including:
- Dado trunking
- Lighting installations
- Data connections
- Access control systems
- Fire alarms
- Emergency lighting
- UPS/IPS systems
- Replacement and installation of:
- LED lighting
- Flood lighting
- Solar PV and battery storage installations
- Fault finding on domestic, commercial, and industrial installations
- EICR testing
- Domestic, commercial, and industrial rewires
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks including:
- Emergency lighting
- Fire alarms
- PAT testing
- Access control and intruder alarm installations
- Maintaining accurate job documentation using Tradify software
- Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures
