The Role
As an Operational Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support across multiple departments, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our business. You will work closely with engineers, clients, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain accurate records, coordinate workflows, and resolve operational issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Process engineer job cards and prepare weekly timesheets.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and communicate professionally with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.
- Conduct follow-up calls and provide updates as required.
- Accurately allocate and input supplier invoices against the correct jobs.
- Support various departments by responding to operational requests and providing timely assistance.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all data is up to date and easily accessible.
- Investigate and resolve operational issues, identifying practical and effective solutions.
- Create, update, and maintain operational procedures, manuals, and documentation.
- Assist with the onboarding and training of new employees on company systems and processes.
- Monitor operational performance and prepare reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Work closely with customer support teams to ensure a positive client experience.
