Responsibilities
- Assisting with site clearance, loading, and unloading materials
- Supporting tradespeople with their tasks as required
- Operating basic tools and machinery safely and efficiently
- Preparing work areas by setting up scaffolding, barriers, or other equipment
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
- Following health and safety protocols at all times
- Carrying out general labouring duties including digging, lifting, and moving materials
- Ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction or labouring roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Good physical fitness with the ability to carry out manual handling tasks
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and adhere to safety procedures
- Reliable with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Valid UK driving licence is desirable but not mandatory
