About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and organised Business Operations Assistant Volunteer to support different areas of the organisation. This role involves working closely with the Business Operations Manager and assisting across HR, legal, marketing, social media, and general administration as required.
This opportunity is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in business operations and develop transferable professional skills in a flexible and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting directly to the Business Operations Manager and supporting operational activities across the organisation;
- Working remotely with a commitment of approximately 15-22 hours per week for a period of 3–6 months;
- Providing administrative and operational assistance across multiple departments as required;
- Supporting HR processes including onboarding coordination, maintaining records, and drafting communications;
- Assisting with legal administrative tasks such as document organisation, deadline tracking, and file management;
- Supporting social media and marketing activities including content scheduling and maintaining content calendars;
- Coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, and taking meeting notes when required;
- Assisting with data entry, database maintenance, and preparation of reports and documents;
- Drafting, reviewing, and proofreading internal and external communications;
- Identifying operational challenges and proactively assisting with solutions; and
- Undertaking additional administrative or operational responsibilities as required.
