Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of daily administrative functions within our organisation. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, proficiency in various computer applications, and a strong ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the engineering and operations teams.
- Act as the first point of contact for customers, handling incoming telephone and email enquiries professionally.
- Maintain and manage office filing systems, including live job files and company records.
- Liaise with suppliers to source, order, and track materials, components, and assets required for engineering projects and replacement works.
- Coordinate with customers and suppliers to schedule jobs and ensure projects are supported with the necessary resources.
- Assist the Accounts Lead with invoice processing and related administrative tasks.
- Prepare project costings and produce quotations for customers across the company’s portfolio.
- Support the smooth day-to-day running of the office, ensuring efficient administrative processes.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation using company systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues while also managing individual tasks and responsibilities effectively.
Skills and Experience Required
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Strong IT and computer literacy skills.
- Experience of office administration and document management systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with a professional telephone manner.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience dealing with suppliers, purchasing, and job coordination would be advantageous.
- Previous experience assisting with invoicing, quotations, or accounts administration would be beneficial.

Pay: £10.85-£13.00 per hour
