Overview
We are seeking a motivated Graduate Business Development Manager to join our commercial team. This is an entry-level role for a recent graduate who wants to build a long-term career in cloud and AI sales. You will work alongside our Senior BDM, Sales Ops, and Marketing functions, with direct exposure to the founder and the wider AWS partner ecosystem. Familiarity with HubSpot or a comparable CRM is highly desirable, as our entire commercial pipeline is run through it.
Responsibilities
- Identify new business opportunities across our target verticals through market research, AWS co-sell signals, and outbound prospecting
- Support the execution of sales campaigns aligned to AWS Partner programmes and CloudiQS service lines, including managed services, migration, and agentic AI
- Maintain and update HubSpot, ensuring accurate records of contacts, deals, activities, and pipeline stages
- Engage prospective clients by email, phone, LinkedIn, and face-to-face meetings, articulating CloudiQS value clearly and credibly
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager on lead generation, campaigns, events, and AWS co-marketing activity
- Prepare pipeline reports and analyse conversion data to highlight trends, blockers, and opportunities for improvement
- Build trusted relationships with prospects and AWS partner contacts, understanding their needs and matching them to the right CloudiQS solution
- Support attendance at AWS events, partner days, and customer meetings across the UK and occasionally abroad
- Complete AWS Partner accreditations and internal training to build deep product and cloud knowledge
What We Are Looking For
- Recent graduate, ideally in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field
- Genuine passion for technology, cloud, and AI, with a desire to build a career in the AWS ecosystem
- Honest, straightforward, and comfortable giving and receiving direct feedback
- Strong learning attitude with a clear track record of teaching yourself new skills outside of formal education
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the confidence to lead a conversation with a senior buyer
- Strong organisation and the ability to manage multiple deals, tasks, and follow ups in parallel
- Comfortable with CRM tools, ideally HubSpot, and confident working with data
- Willing to travel within the UK for customer meetings, AWS events, and partner activity
- A proactive team player who takes ownership and does not wait to be told what to do

Pay: £24,696.07-£30,185.65 per year
