We are seeking a compassionate, organised and proactive Female Personal Assistant / Carer to support a female client living in Harrow with complex health needs. This is a varied role that combines high-quality personal care with household management and administrative responsibilities.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong command of the English language (both written and spoken), and be confident liaising with healthcare professionals and managing day-to-day administrative tasks.
Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone with the right attitude, compassion and willingness to learn.
About The Role

Provide high-quality personal care in a respectful and dignified manner.

Administer medication in accordance with care plans and training.

Support the client to access the community and participate in social and recreational activities.

Maintain accurate daily records and care documentation.
-
Liaise with GPs, hospitals, consultants and other healthcare professionals to arrange appointments.

Order medications and medical supplies, carry out regular stock checks, and resolve any issues with suppliers.

Maintain records of medication and medical supply stock.

Assist with general household management and administrative duties.

Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic home environment to a high standard, recognising the client's increased risk of infection due to a compromised immune system.

Promote the client's independence, wellbeing and quality of life.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Comfortable working in a home with cats.

Able to work 12-hour shifts and commit to a minimum of four shifts per week.

A satisfactory Enhanced DBS check is required before employment can commence.

Previous experience supporting individuals with complex health needs.

Experience in mental health care.

Confidence using basic IT systems, email and maintaining accurate records.

Medication administration experience is desirable but not essential.
