First Steps Together is an innovative and supportive specialist provision dedicated to helping children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities thrive. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed SEND Teacher to join our fantastic school setting.
This is a rewarding opportunity for a creative educator who is passionate about making a genuine difference in the lives of young learners. With small class sizes of only 6 pupils, you will be able to provide highly personalised teaching, build strong relationships, and support each child’s individual learning journey.
The Role
As a SEND Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with a range of additional needs
- Create a nurturing, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
- Support pupils’ academic, emotional, and social development
- Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, families, and external professionals
- Contribute to EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
