Activities Coordinator – Dementia Care Home (20-25 hours per week)

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to deliver a vibrant, engaging, and person-centred activities programme within our welcoming memory care home.
In this rewarding role, you’ll bring energy and ideas to life—supporting residents through a mix of group and one-to-one activities that promote wellbeing, connection, and joy.
What you’ll be doing:
- Planning and delivering a varied, stimulating activities programme
- Providing both group and 1:1 sessions tailored to individual needs
- Creating a warm, inclusive, and engaging environment for residents
- Building relationships within the local community, including visits to groups and schools to raise awareness of the home
- Helping to ensure the home is active, visible, and well-connected locally
What we’re looking for:
- A genuine passion for working with older adults, particularly those living with dementia
- Creativity, enthusiasm, and a positive outlook
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Confidence in engaging with residents, families, and the wider community
- Willingness to undertake relevant training and development
Additional information:
- 25 hours per week, including alternate weekends
- This role is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an enhanced DBS check
