We are currently recruiting compassionate and reliable Female Care Support Workers to join our friendly and professional team.
Role Overview
As a Care Support Worker, you will provide person-centred care and support to individuals living in their own homes. You will play an important role in helping clients maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life.
Main Duties
- Providing personal care including washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Supporting clients with mobility and transfers.
- Assisting with medication prompting and administration (where trained).
- Preparing meals and supporting with nutrition and hydration.
- Providing companionship and emotional support.
- Assisting with shopping and community access where required.
- Completing accurate care records and daily notes.
- Following care plans, risk assessments, and company policies.
- Promoting independence, dignity, privacy, and choice at all times.
Essential Requirements
- Female applicants only (Genuine Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act 2010).
- Caring, compassionate, and reliable nature.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Registration with Social Care Wales (or willingness to register).
Preferred Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Own vehicle available for work.
- Previous experience in domiciliary care, support work, healthcare, or a similar role.
- QCF/NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification. (Preferred)
