We are seeking motivated and reliable Mobile Hygiene Operatives / Supervisors to join our team at Symclean.
This role involves executing hygiene cleaning tasks across various sites, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in hygiene cleaning in various sites. E.G food hygiene, high level cleaning, enabling you to contribute to vital hygiene services in diverse environments.
The supervisor role will be responsible for supervising teams, managing equipment, and maintaining operational efficiency on the move.
As you will be part of a mobile team, some overnight stays are essential, travel and subsistence allowances are made.
Drivers preferred, clean driving license.
Overnight stays will be required for some jobs.
Duties
- Conduct routine cleaning and hygiene maintenance at multiple locations using appropriate tools and techniques
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to carry out cleaning, repairs, or minor construction tasks as required
- Supervise a team of hygiene operatives, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards
- Coordinate daily schedules and allocate resources effectively across sites
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Maintain detailed records of work completed, materials used, and equipment maintained or repaired
- Assist with the installation, repair, or maintenance of hygiene facilities or equipment as needed
- Conduct site inspections to identify potential hazards or areas for improvement
Requirements
- Proven experience in food hygiene cleaning
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to hygiene services and site work
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple sites efficiently
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with team members and clients
- Flexibility to travel between different locations as required
- Valid UK driving licence is desirable but not essential
- A proactive attitude with a focus on quality and safety standards
- IPAF certificate desirable
- Confined space trained desirable
