Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to inventory management, shipping, and receiving. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Hours of work are Mon-Thurs 8.30am - 5.00pm, Friday 8am- 2.30pm
Responsibilities
- Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and orders
- Load and unload goods from lorries and containers efficiently
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accuracy in order fulfilment
- Operating a forklift truck loading / unloading and stacking products in racking
- Making deliveries in a van
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse space
Skills
- Previous warehouse experience is desirable but training will be given
- Proficiency in materials handling techniques and safety procedures
- Forklift licence essential
- Full Driving License essential
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and order processing
