HGV Technician – Reading
Salary: Up to £45,000 basic + realistic OTE up to £64,000
Contract: Permanent | Full-time (40 hours per week)
The Role
We're looking for a skilled and flexible HGV Technician with strong diagnostic ability to join a busy workshop in Reading. You'll be working across diagnostics, repairs, servicing, and inspections, using manufacturer-approved equipment to ensure vehicles are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out diagnostics using manufacturer equipment
- Complete repairs identified during inspections and diagnostics
- Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and general repairs
- Work across multiple manufacturers and vehicle types
- Ensure all work meets manufacturer and safety standards
- Support workshop productivity and quality targets
What We're Looking For
- HGV Technician experience (diagnostic experience highly desirable)
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
- Ability to work across multiple brands and systems
- Team player with a flexible, can-do attitude
- Understanding of Health & Safety requirements
- Relevant qualifications preferred but time-served experience considered
