We're looking for an engaging and proactive Health, Safety & Wellbeing Advisor to join our team on a major UK transport infrastructure scheme. The role focuses on supporting the installation of large concrete structural elements, including concrete cladding units, delivered within a dynamic, multi‑disciplinary construction environment.

What you'll be doing
You'll work closely with site teams, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure safe and compliant delivery of concrete structural works. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing day‑to‑day HS&W support during concrete cladding unit installation and wider structural activities.
- Carrying out site inspections, behavioural observations, and compliance checks to promote safe working practices.
- Supporting teams working near overhead lines and rail interfaces, ensuring appropriate controls are understood and applied.
- Helping operational teams plan safe systems of work and embed effective risk management.
- Monitoring trends, promoting learning, and contributing to proactive prevention strategies.
- Fostering a positive safety culture built on engagement, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
This is a full‑time, site‑based role, working closely with teams to deliver safely every day.
What we're looking for
Essential:
- NEBOSH General or NEBOSH Construction Certificate
- At least 2 years' experience as a Health & Safety Advisor
- Construction site experience within building or infrastructure (Tier 1 or Tier 2 environment)
- Confident communication skills and the ability to influence behaviours on site
- A practical, solutions‑focused mindset
Preferred (not essential):
- Experience working near overhead lines or rail infrastructure
- Understanding of concrete structures or heavy civil engineering
