About the Role
Each Standard movement pays £60, for a long haul movement that takes an entire day, the rate would be more accomodating to ensure fair pay for drivers.
Short movements pay less and are to be kept to a minimum as best we can.
A Bonus/profit share opportunity will be applied for quick and efficiant work and if expenses are kept to a minimum.
Previous experience is a must for this position.
Traveling to the start point of your first collection, checking in and photographing details of the vehicle on our user friendly system, offering a friendly and personable customer experience upon collection and delivery.
Tracking expenses, planning your route, keeping in touch with the customer and AAMG with regular updates on ETA.
Use of public transport will be necessary, multiple deliveries a day, assistance with expenses such as fuel and public transport. Living with in close range of public transport would be essential.
Occasional lift to start point should there be a bulk move out of auction houses, dealerships etc.
In this role you will be responsible for accurate appraisals of vehicles, gaining proof of collection, promptly delivering new and used vehicles to the customer, hand over the vehicle with sign off and proof of delivery.
Should you not have a movement to carry over night we will cover travel home to the nearest train station.
About you
- Preferably over the age of 30 (for insurance purposes)
- A full UK drivers license (held for 5 years)
- Clean Driving License is Required
- At least 2 years experience is required
- Customer friendly, home deliveries to end users will be part of the role.
- A good understanding of the UK road network.
- Ability to plan routes.
- Good attention to detail.
- Secure off road parking to be used on occasion (IE private garage or driveway)
- Experience driving Vans as well as cars
