Commercial Leak Detection Manager / Team Leader / Senior Leak Detection
Location: Field-based (UK-wide travel)
Salary: £50,000+ plus overtime, company van and progression

We’re growing and looking for a Senior Leak Detection Engineer / Team Leader to lead from the front. This is a great opportunity for someone ready to take the next step, combining technical expertise with team leadership and high-level project work.
You’ll play a key role in delivering complex investigations, supporting and developing engineers, and helping shape the future of a specialist, growing business.
What you’ll be doing

Leading and supporting a team of engineers on a day-to-day basis

Delivering advanced leak detection across commercial and industrial sites

Managing and reviewing technical reports before they go to clients and insurers

Acting as the on-site expert with clients, loss adjusters, and contractors

Supporting the development and training of junior engineers

Working on a variety of projects, including internal systems and external drainage investigations
This is a field-based, hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and being out on site.
What we’re looking for

Experience in leak detection, drainage, plumbing, or building services

Previous experience leading, mentoring, or supervising others

A practical, methodical approach with strong problem-solving skills

Confidence working directly with clients and stakeholders

Full UK driving licence
Experience with specialist equipment (e.g. acoustic, tracer gas, thermal imaging, CCTV) is beneficial but not essential, as training will be provided.
