Responsible to: Cleaning Supervisor
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 5:30pm to 7:30pm (10 hours per week)
We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Cleaner to join our Cleaning team.
The ideal candidate will be reliable, have a ‘can do’ attitude and work to maintain high cleaning standards, ensuring all health and safety procedures are met.
Duties:
- Carry out all allocated cleaning activities to the specification completely, safely and within the required timescales
- Cleaning, washing, sweeping, vacuum cleaning, emptying of bins, polishing and dusting of the designated areas and fixture and fittings
- Maintain assigned cleaning cupboard to the standards and requirements
- Ensure all equipment is kept clean, well maintained and is a safe working order
- Comply with the requirements of Health & Safety, other relevant legislation and premises policies
- Full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials and approved chemicals used within the premises
- Any other cleaning duties as requested by the Cleaning Supervisor/Head of Department
Required:
- You must have at least 1 years’ experience in a similar role
- You must be reliable and hard working
- You must punctual and trustworthy
- You must be pro-active and able to work as part of a team or individually
- You must be able to stand for the duration of your shift and carry out basic manual tasks
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
